Peanut Butter Rally – April 10 – May 22, 2023 | Help the Rock River Valley Food Pantry and Byron Bank collect peanut butter and jelly for children in need this summer. Plastic jars only please. Drop off at all locations.

Community Calendar Contest – May 15, 2023 – August 31, 2023 | The theme for the 1st Annual Community Calendar is “Our Community. Our Home.” The cover photo winner will receive a $250 gift card and 12 monthly winners will receive a $100 gift card! Visit the Community Calendar Contest Page for full details and contest rules.

Lemonade Stands – June 1, 2023 – August 5, 2023 | They’re back!! This summer Byron Bank is sponsoring local lemonade stands! Beginning June 1, bring your child into one of our three locations to sign a “business contract” and pick up a lemonade stand kit – complete with everything they need to get their small business off the ground! These young kidpreneurs will receive a poster board with their lemonade stand kit to create a unique sign for their small business. Post a photo of your child’s lemonade stand on Facebook and tag Byron Bank for a chance to win a basket of fun goodies! Photo contest ends July 31, 2023. Enjoy lemonade from a kidpreneur this summer and support small business!

Pet Palooza Adoption Event and Pet Bandana Contest – June 26, 2023 | Join us for the kick off of our Pet Bandana Contest on Saturday, June 24, 2023 for our Pet Adoption event with Tails Humane Society from 11am to 2pm in the green space off Washington and 2nd Street in Byron. 102.3 The Coyote will be there for a Live Broadcast and we will also be giving away ByronFest wristbands! Pick up your Byron Bank branded bandana during the event or pick up a bandana at one of our three locations beginning June 26, 2023. Stuff-A-Bus – July 10 – August 12, 2023 | Having a backpack full of much-needed school supplies is essential to help prepare students for success during the year. Items that are most needed are backpacks, crayons, dry erase markets, scissors, spiral notebooks, index cards, ear buds, hygiene kits and #2 pencils. All supplies will be delivered directly to the Byron School District, Meridian School District and District 100 in Belvidere and distributed by school staff. Together, we can give students the tools they need to start the school year prepared and confident!

Art in the Lobby – Tuesday, September 5, 2023 – September 20, 2023 | Byron Bank is happy to once again host art from the Byron School District in our lobby in Byron during regular business hours. Stop by and see all the creativity!
