Please Welcome Don Banks

Byron Bank would like to welcome Executive Vice President Don Banks! An industry veteran, Don has 32 years of experience in the banking and financial industry with over 20 years in commercial lending. He is a graduate of Western Illinois University, the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking, CBAI Community Bankers School, and ABA Commercial Lending School at Southern Methodist University.

Don is very involved in the community, working within the Flora Township, Flora Cemetery, and Community Building Complex of Boone County, and serving on the District 100 Charitable Foundation Board, the Boone County Community Foundation Board, and the Belvidere Mutual Insurance Board. Don is also a member of the Belvidere IOU Club.

In his free time, Don enjoys shooting trap and spending time with his friends and family. He is an avid sports fan, always cheering on the University of Oklahoma Sooners and the University of Wisconsin Badgers.

Don will be working out of our Poplar Grove location.
