Byron Bank has issued a warning about a recent scheme targeting our customers by phone. The scam is an attempt to convince customers to hand over account information.

The phishing scheme involves the Byron Bank phone number, 815-234-6111. A bank employee will only contact you through our main number, 815-234-2561.

Byron Bank will never contact you directly and ask for your personal or account information that we already have on file.

 If you have received a phone call claiming to be from Byron Bank and believe you are a victim of fraud or notice potentially suspicious activity on your account, please call 815-234-2561. Your safety is our top priority and something Byron Bank takes very seriously. We are continually taking steps to protect our customers and keep our staff educated.
