Scammers are at it again with fake texts and phone calls about I-PASS, stimulus payments, and bank PIN requests. Byron Bank or any bank will NEVER call or text asking for your PIN, debit card number, Social Security number, or Date of Birth. If you receive a call from an unknown number, don’t answer. If you get a text claiming to be from your bank, about a stimulus payment or I-PASS, do not click any links, it could install malware or steal your information. Again, Byron Bank or any bank will not ask for this very important information in a text message. Stay alert and protect yourself. If you're ever unsure about a message, contact Byron Bank directly.

Welcome Scott!

Scott Mincemoyer, Byron Bank Chief Financial Officer, is a welcomed new addition to our team. Scott is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking in Memphis, TN and has worked in banking and finance for 33 years, with experience in customer service, lending, collections, investments, marketing, and financial management.

Scott is excited to be at Byron Bank due to our “focus on the well-being of our clients, community, and employees.” Scott loves working in a community bank setting because he’s able to personally connect to customers and make a difference in the lives of friends, neighbors, and community members he has known for years.

In Scott’s spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Mary, and their two children; especially outdoors and cheering on the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Blackhawks. Scott is very active with various youth programs and volunteers with Special Olympics.

Welcome aboard, Scott! We are excited to have you on our team.
