Byron Bank is enhancing your online banking experience with the introduction of SecureNow Login for our Personal Online and Mobile Banking platform. This upgrade underscores our dedication to ensuring our customers’ data remains confidential and safe from any potential threats. While change can sometimes be daunting, we believe this move will provide you with a more seamless and secure banking experience with us.
On November 15, 2023 Online and Mobile Banking will upgrade to include a two-factor authentication requirement. These improved features are designed to validate your identity and prevent unauthorized access to your account information.
Online and Mobile Banking users will be required to answer one security question and then enroll a phone number for delivery of your one-time passcode. Security questions will expire and no longer be used.
After the enrollment, the passcode verification will appear each time the system doesn’t recognize your device or desktop, you are traveling or detects suspicious activity.
When you enter your username and password in the login box for the first time as of November 15, 2023, you will need to choose a phone number for how you want to receive your one-time passcode.
Text Message – an SMS text message will be sent with a one-time passcode. Enter your cell phone number to receive this. Delivered by SMS short code 36397.
Phone Call – Enter a landline or cell phone number to receive a recorded voice call with your one-time passcode. Delivered by number 669-241-2767.
Once you have received the text or phone call, you will be prompted to enter the passcode. Press continue and you will be taken to the Online or Mobile Banking home screen.
